This special event featured extended hours, animal demonstrations, keeper talks and more. Die hard fans were sure to come out and celebrate with us as we welcomed this new addition to our herd!
Zoopalooza: Petri, Nashville Zoo’s Green Aracari
The green aracari (Pteroglossus viridis) is a beautiful bird found in the rainforests of Central and South America. It is a member of the Toucan family, and like other Toucans, it has a very large bill.
